Guy Hill Woodall, 69, of Hayneville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at home after a 16-year battle with cancer.

Guy was born in Montgomery, Al.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Ben Woodall, Jr; mother, Frances Pugh Woodall, and brother, William Ben Woodall, III.  He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Carol Jay Rogers Woodall; daughter, Helen Frances Woodall; sons, Guy Hill Woodall, Jr., (Reygan), Jay Rogers Woodall (Haiden); four granddaughters; Gracie, Cate, Ella, and Cara; two brothers, John Sullivan Woodall (Debra), and Joseph Hal Woodall (Carol).

Guy graduated from Lowndes Academy in 1971 and then went to work at Noland Company for five years.  In 1976, he and his daddy opened Discount Tire Market and worked together for many years.  In 2006, he sold his business and went to work for the State of Alabama.  He was scheduled to retire on July 1, 2022.

Guy was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lowndesboro, Alabama, where he served as a member of the Vestry.  He also enjoyed participating in a weekly Bible Study at Hayneville Presbyterian Church.  His favorite pastime was spending time with his family.  He especially enjoyed playing golf with his boys.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00 am at Rogers Cemetery in Letohatchee, Alabama, with Sherod Mallow and Lincoln Speece officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Pallbearers will be Dennis Blair, Julian Rogers, David Rogers, Jack Rogers, Jackson Rogers, Dwight Julian, Van Woodall, and Matthew Woodall.

Visitation will follow the service at the Rogers home in Letohatchee.
