Mr. Gregory Scott "Scottie" Keeney, 57, a resident of Georgiana, AL, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Georgiana Hospital, Georgiana, AL.

The family will receive friends at Providence United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

The funeral service will be at Providence United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Keeney was preceded in death by his parents: Neil and Helen Stinson Keeney and a sister: Patricia Jane Keeney.

Scottie is survived by his sister: Trinia K. Gaston of McKenzie, AL, 2 brothers: David Rex Keeney of Georgiana, AL, Shawn Keeney (Sheri) of McKenzie, AL; a very special cousin and best friend, Brandy Bush; 10 nieces and nephews: Seth Colin Gage Keeney, Weston Zane Keeney, Sara Helen Keeney, Kiera Jane Keeney, Hunter Kyle Gaston, Garrett Ryan Gaston, Austin Chandler Keeney, Faith Daniel Keeney, Timothy Morgan Keeney and Dylan Wyatt Keeney.

The family will accept flowers or requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to: Montgomery Cancer Center, 4145 Carmichael Road, Montgomery, AL 36106.
