TANNER, Gloria Lindsey, age 61, a resident of Selma, AL and former resident of Montgomery, AL, died Sunday, June, 5, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, AL with Reverend Steve Campbell officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home Directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville, AL. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents: Jimmy and Mattie Lindsey; sister: Shirley Ann Bowden; and niece: Shannon Bowden. She is survived by her husband: Michael Gene Tanner of Selma, AL; children: Lee (Catherine) Tanner of Greenville, AL, Heather (David) Lyons, Sr. of West Point, GA, and Brandon Tanner of Selma, AL; grandchildren: Olivia (Derrick) Williams of Greenville, AL, Kendall Gibson of Mobile, AL, Kyle Tanner of Lompoc, CA, Jared Tanner and Chloe Sawicki both of Greenville, AL, Tanner-Lindsey Lyons of Troy, AL, Harrison Lyons, Jr. of West Point, GA, Callen Tanner and Chapel Tanner both of Selma, AL; great-grandchildren: Preston and Adalynn Williams of Greenville, AL; sister: Lisa (Tim) Talley of Montgomery, AL; brothers: Jimmy "Buddy" (Joanne) Lindsey of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Chris Lindsey of Montgomery, AL; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was very much loved by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
