Lewis, George Bernard, 88, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lisenby officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents: John Maxwell and Louise Heaton Lewis, Sr., brother: John Maxwell Lewis, Jr. and his wife Maurice Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife: Maxine Page Lewis; children: Patricia Lewis Read (John) of Jonesboro, GA, George Faren Lewis (Lisa) of Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren: Zachary Faren Lewis (Ally) of Wetumpka, AL, Hunter Landon Lewis of Valdosta, GA; step-grandchildren: Charles Read of Atlanta, GA, Tori Hollifield of Auburn, AL, Ian Hollifield of Birmingham, AL; and great-grand daughter, Harper Olivia Lewis of Wetumpka, AL.
