Born June 4, 1936, George W. Green, a resident of Greenville, AL, entered into his eternal rest on
October 28, 2014. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a great
friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents John Franklin and Lonnie Lee Bowling Green and sons, George Wallace Green and Michael Edward Mitchell.
George is survived by his wife Stella M. Green; daughters Robbie L. (John) Hall and Tiffany J. (Louis)
Duncan; son Jeffery W. Green; grandchildren Christopher W. (Kimberly) Hall, Ashley C. (Matthew) Forbus, Caleb M. Lock, Matthew T. H. Lock, Caitlyn G. Lock; a great-grandson George Hardy Forbus; and his beloved dog "Sandy" Green. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Young presiding. Burial will follow at Faith Hill Cemetery, Crenshaw County, AL.
