Gayle Carnley Knighten, 75 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family April 30,2022. Gayle was a devoted house wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent many years working with the public in different settings. She was a beloved person who rarely met a stranger, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Knighten, daughter Margie Rodrigue, and parents Albert and Mary Lois Carnley. She is survived by her three children Tonya Knighten DeRamus, Rebecca Mosley, and Albert Lee (Adrian) Knighten. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Dunklin Funeral Home with a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Brother Ricky Crysell will officiate Dunklin Funeral Home will direct. Graveside to follow at Sardis Cemetery in Highland Home.  Pall bearers will be Johnny Mount Jr., Stanley Gardner, Randy Williams, Sam Reeves, Joshua Jones, and Clay Singleton. Honorary pall bears will be Buddy Knighten, William Gardner, and Jeffery Franks.
