Francis Buckner (Buck) Dobson died on May 8, 2011. He was born in Wilcox County on December 5, 1935 and lived there most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Lisa McNeill Dobson, his children, Francis (Frank) Buckner, Jr. and Kay Dobson, Monroeville, AL, Earl McNeill (Neill) and Connie Dobson, Troy, and Lee Farish and Angela Mills Dobson, Saint Simons Island, GA and his grandchildren Francis Buckner III (Trey) and Laura Dobson, Taylor Powell Dobson, Patrick and Elise Dobson Ezell, Rebecca Mills Dobson, Addie Farish Dobson, Earl McNeill Dobson, Jr. and Laura Dale Dobson, a sister, Alice Lee Albritton and sister-in-law, Dana McNeill Sadler. Buck cherished his friends including life-long relationships with brothers in Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Auburn University. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Camden United Methodist Church, 127 Broad Street, Camden, AL 36726, J. Paul Jones Hospital Foundation, 317 McWilliams Avenue, Camden, AL 36726 or Monroe County Health Foundation, P. O. Box 886, Monroeville, AL 36461. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Camden Cemetery with Pastor Ed Shirley and Mr. Payton Buford officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL directing. Pallbearers will be Starke Albritton, Lee Thomas, George Alford, Kennon Agee, Leon Sadler and Wesley Kennedy.
