Maness, Ernestine Shields, 93, a resident of Camden, AL, died on Friday, February 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Camden, AL with Barney R. McIntosh and Von Memory officiating. Burial will follow in Reaves Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her parents, Collie and Minnie McIntosh, son, Clifford Osman Maness, Jr., daughter, Trudy Maxine Dunnam, and brother, James Reginald McIntosh.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Osman Maness, Sr. children; Caralie Tait of Pensacola, FL, James Preston Vick, III (Barbara) of Camden, AL, Carly Hinson (Darrion) of Excel, AL, Mike Vick (Donna) of Camden, AL, Phil Maness (Lanette) of Camden, AL, 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Maness has served as the proud matriarch of the Vick and Maness families and leaves behind designated matriarch, granddaughter, Caroline Brooks.
