Joan Hall, 88, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died peacefully, October 21, 2025.

Joan was a graduate of Lowndes County High School and was a graduate of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College with an associate's degree.

Joan was preceded in death by her father, Travis Cates; sister, Nancy Cates Lockhart; son, Kenneth Hall; and previous husband, Alton Hall.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Hall, Greenville, AL, Tom Hall (Angie), Snowdoun, AL, Carol Hall, Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren Allen Hall, Greenville, AL, Joanna Hall, Prattville, AL, Samantha Cates Troy, Legrand, AL and Tiffany Hall Ashmore, Wetumpka, and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will plan a memorial at a later date in the Little Sandy Ridge Cemetery of Fort Deposit, AL.
