Elizabeth Liddell Henderson, 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL died on Monday, March 26, 2018. She was born February 16, 1929 to the late Roy Liddell and Laura Heisell Liddell. Mrs. Henderson was raised in Camden, Al. She was a lifelong teacher and graduate of Auburn University. She was a member of St. Michaels and All Angels Church of Millbrook, Al. A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Fred Bain Henderson Cemetery in the Millers Ferry community. With Rev. Mark E. Waldo Jr. officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers include Stephen Cody Turberville, Chase Zachary Daly, Floyd Lee Moore III, Thomas Ervin Henderson, Samuel James Henderson and Timothy Kevin Henderson.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her two children , Laura Hixon Darden (David) of Montgomery, Al and Stephen William Hixon III (Marie) of Montgomery, Al. Four Step Children: Thomas Ervin Henderson (Sandra) of Millers Ferry, Samuel James Henderson (Vivian) of Millers Ferry, Timothy Kevin Henderson (Raylaine) of Sardis and Sarah Henderson Moore (Lee) of Montgomery, Al . Fourteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by her late husbands Stephen W. Hixon Jr. and Fred Bain Henderson and a brother Robert Liddell .In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Michaels, St Judes, or the charity of your choice.
