Eleanor Jean Thomas Bush, a resident of Camden, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 77 after a long battle with Dementia complications. Jean was born on January 18, 1948, to her parents James Clifton Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Henderson of Andalusia, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children Brent Bush of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Matt (Sherri) Bush of Camden, Alabama; her sister, Carolyn (Pete) Brooks and grandchildren Cade Bush, Matthew, Hallie, and Brie Bush; along with nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Jean held various administrative jobs throughout her lifetime including McMillan Bloedel, The United Methodist Church organization, and Seay, Seay & Litchfield Architects.

She had a great love for the outdoors and flowers and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her sister on Lake Martin and adored visiting with her grandchildren. She also loved cheering for the Auburn Tigers! She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
