Edward Cameron Faircloth, II, age 70, of Knoxville, TN, passed away in his home on January 24, 2026. He lived a life full of adventure and love. He was a warm hearted, soft-spoken gentleman. Throughout his life he had many interests including sports, nature, photography, airplanes and travel. Most of all he loved watching his Alabama Crimson Tide win National Championships.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Faircloth, Jr and Ann Bruce Mauldin Faircloth of Rock Hill, SC and by his wife and mother of his sons, Rebecca Miller Faircloth of Greenville, AL.
Cameron is survived by his wife of 13 years, Carol Faircloth; sons Cam Faircloth (Teresa) and Nathan Faircloth; grandsons Cameron & Matthew Faircloth, all of Knoxville, TN; step-daughter Dana Schroeder (Reid Doughtery) and step-grandson Calvin Dougherty of Charlottesville, VA; brothers Fred Faircloth (Phyllis) of Rock Hill, SC and Mark Faircloth (Jennifer) of Opelika, AL; sister Ann Bruce Porter of Auburn, AL; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, central time, on Saturday, January 31st at Dunklin Funeral Home in Greenville, AL. A remembrance service and burial will follow. Donations may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in Cameron’s honor.
