Pruitt, Edith McCrory, 85, a resident of Greenville, AL, died on Friday, December 30, 2016 at L. V. Stabler Hospital in Greenville, AL.
Edith was a native of Butler County, Alabama. She was born to Henry and Aline McCrory on August 3, 1931. During her adult life, she made Ft. Walton Beach, Florida her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Pruitt, and her son James Oakley Pruitt. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gladys McCrory Stokley. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Kelley, of Greenville and her two brothers - Oakley McCrory (Betty) & Mack McCrory (Judy), both of Huntsville. She is also survived by her nieces, Lynne Stokley and her daughter, Laura, and Yvonne McCrory Bryant (Brooks) and her nephews, Bill Kelley (Winks) and their children Will, Anne Price and Alex and Mark McCrory (Lori) and their children Ansley and Hill, and many extended family members. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, January 3rd at 12 noon at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, with a graveside service following at 1pm at Magnolia Cemetery and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
