Kennedy, Edith Constance, a resident of Honoraville, AL died peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Luverne Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Antioch East Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Newton, Rev. Ronnie Boulware, and Rev. Danny Dean officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Miss Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ina Earle Kennedy, siblings; Mary Belle K. Bentley, Mildred K. Bentley, Woodrow Kennedy, and Ina Mae K. Heartsill. She is survived by her sister, Freddie K. Perdue of Honoraville, AL, triplet sisters; Erin K. Lansdon (Win) of Montgomery, AL and Edna K. Gafford of Birmingham, AL, brother, O'Neil Kennedy of Honoraville, AL, numerous nieces and nephews.
Miss Kennedy was an honor graduate of Butler County High School and attended Brennen Business College. She worked thirty-two years with the U.S. Government as a Civil Servant at Ft. McClellan and was a lifelong member of Antioch East Baptist Church.
