Mr. Ed F. Malone, 88, a former resident of Greenville, AL died at Bill Nichols Veterans Home on Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Ed F. Malone was born November 21st, 1931 to James Drew Malone and Mary Amanda Bryant Malone of Logansport Louisiana. Ed passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2020 at the age of 88. He served our country in the air force for 4 years, during the Korean war. He was honorably discharged in 1955. Following his military service, he had a successful career in sales for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lounnelle Gaston Malone of Greenville Alabama, his sisters Joy Malone Harville, Johnnie Malone Stewart, Jewel Malone Trahan, Brothers James Woody Malone and Richard Henry Malone. Three half siblings Carmen Malone Daughtry, Clyde J. Malone, Louis Pat Malone. Ed is survived by his sister Sara Malone Dunham, and brother " Buddy" Bryant Malone, his daughters Amanda Malone Maines her husband Frank, and Angela Malone and his grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth (Maines) Page, Annah Marie Maines, Benjamin Andrew Maines, and Abigayle Taylor. Ed will always be remembered for the jokes he told and the laughter he brought to a the room.
