Mr. Dovie Edward Lowery, 85, a resident of Greenville, AL, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wald Church of Christ with Minister Jimmy Benson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by his parents: Dovie and Hattie Lowery; wife: Mary Josephine Lowery; son: Anthony Lowery and sister: Sallie Bell Lowery.

He is survived by his children: Diane Loe (Milton) of Calera, AL, Sheila Tracy (Mike) of Pinson, AL, Robert Lowery of Greenville, AL, Brenda Trent (Keener) of Greenville, AL, and Mark Lowery (Donna) of Greenville, AL; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Conway of Greenville, AL and Melba Harrison of Greenville, AL; sister-in-law: Dorothy Morgan (Bill) of Greenville, AL and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
