Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Walker, 85, a resident of Camden, AL, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Monroe County Hospital, Monroeville, AL. Her visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Camden, AL. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband: Faris Cornelius Walker, daughter: Cynthia J. Dailey and brother: Leonard "Joe" Smith. Mrs. Walker's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Camden Church of God at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Chad Adams officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Camden, AL. She is survived by her daughters: Dorothy Latham of Orange Beach, AL, Wynette Black (Al) of Beatrice, AL, Rita Dailey (Amos) of McWilliams, AL, 2 sons: Lamar Walker (Caroline) of Nashville, TN, Billy Jack Walker (Peggy) of Ft. Payne, AL, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 sisters: Doris Trawick, Lois Levens, Carolyn Brown, Regina Sullivan, Beatrice Mauldin (J.R.), Lily Twilley (Gene), Virginia Blackwell (Charles), Ann Dodd (Arthur) and nieces and nephews. Active Pallbearers will be Vaughn Walker, Jeff Walker, Steve Latham, Tim Haynes, Wade Walker and Ryan Walker.
