Dorothy Ann Henry Lang, 87, a resident of Minter, AL died at her home on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Brother Dave Thomas officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Dot, as she was known to everyone, was born in Pleasant Hill, AL and lived there her entire life. She graduated from Carlowville High School in 1948. She married Theron Lang on June 18, 1948. They were together 61 years until his death in 2009.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Evelyn Wyatt Henry; brother, Watt Henry; sisters, Shirley Smyly, Jayne Boley, Nickie Grindle and brother-in-law, Billy Lang.

Dot is survived by her daughter, Penny Till (Johnny); son, Buddy Lang (Melissa); grandchildren, Dr. Angela Barlow (Ken), Dan Till (Tammy), Josh Till, Joy Lang, Austin Lang and Jessica Lang; great-grandchildren, Lizzy Barlow, Trey Barlow, Zack Till, Drew Till and Anna Grace Till; sister, Cecile Simmons and sister-in-law, Betty Willis (Wyatt).

Flowers will be accepted or donations to the charity of choice.
