Atkins, Mrs. Dorothy Skinner, age 90, a resident of Greenville, AL, died on Monday, September 5, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 in Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Robert Cruikshank officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis W. Atkins, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Judy Atkins (Dennis) Taylor of Greenville, AL, Jean Atkins (Tommy) Gilbert of Greenville, AL, Laura Ann Atkins (Jim) Jacobs of Anniston, AL, sons, Robert L. Atkins of Pike Road, AL, Richard P. (Darlene) Atkins of Waynesville, NC, grandchildren, Teresa Taylor, Angela Macumber, Denise Lincoln, Katie Johnson, Wendy McMillan, Melissa Gilbert, Natalie Howell, Jake Jacobs, Wesley Atkins, 8 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
