Mrs. Doris D. Gibson, 93, a resident of Evergreen, AL died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Evergreen Nursing Home. The funeral service was held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Marg Perelli officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Gibson, Jr. and parents, William Henry and Bertha Loftin Davis of Fort Deposit, AL., brother, Henry Wesley Davis; sister-in-law, Frances D. Davis.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita G. Smith (Larry); son, Gary K. Gibson (Liz); grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (Artie), Pam Brown (Danny), Jonathan Smith (Monica), Amy Gibson and Kin Gibson (Jessica) ; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Wright, LaKyn Brown, Logan Brown, Delilah Smith, Lambert Smith, Annabelle Smith, Benjiman Smith, Nick Gibson and Joe Gibson and many other family members.
