Mrs. Doris H. Austin, 88, a resident of Banks, AL, died on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Crowne Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Stephens and Rev. Elwood Sims officiating and Dunklin and Daniels directing. Burial will follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Fort Deposit, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services.
Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie G. Parmer and Dossie E. Austin. Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Crook (Jimmy) of Fostoria, AL, Norma Turner (Jason) of Banks, AL, son, Bruce Parmer (Linda) of Fort Deposit, AL, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
