Pouncey, Donald, 61, a resident of Greenville, AL died at his home Friday, November 06, 2015. The funeral service will be Monday, November 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Known as Donnie to family and friends, Pouncey enjoyed a long and successful career as a construction contractor. Pouncey was a caring husband, father, brother, and friend who loved life, laughter, camping, and Colorado. He,along with his brothers and friends, spent many wonderful hunting trips telling stories by a campfire. He will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to know him. Pouncey is preceded in death by his parents, Irving "Bill" and Mylan Pouncey. He is survived by his wife, Mollie Cumbie Pouncey; daughters Tracey Pouncey (Wes) of Panama City, Florida, and Stephanie Pouncey of Montgomery; stepsons Josh Gardner (Hilarie) and Caleb Gardner (Sarah Ellen) and stepdaughter Abbie Ballew (Brad), all of Greenville; brothers David Pouncey, Danny Pouncey (Ida), Daryl Pouncey (Peggy), Garry Pouncey (Yurong Fan) and Lyndon Pouncey (Ginger), all of Greenville, and sister Susan Giddens (Danny) of Tampa, Florida; sister-in-law Susan Barganier and brother-in-law Kenny Cumbie, both of Greenville; 11 grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Branum, Richard "Stump" Sellers, Andy Boutwell, Darrel Pouncey, Larry Heartsil and Ricky Pouncey. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Pouncey, Darrel Pouncey, Danny Pouncey, Gary Pouncey, Lyndon Pouncey and Susan Giddens.
