David Ray Smith, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 69.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 1, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow beginning at 12:00 noon at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Rutledge, Alabama.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Hilman and Ella Clair Hall Smith; and sister, Laura Anne.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Paletta and his girlfriend, Doddie Fry; along with many extended family members and friends.
