David Lee Quates, Sr., a cherished father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch East Baptist Church with Brother Mike Holcombe officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. until service time.

David was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl and Mary Frances Quates.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Tony Luckie, Ricky (Christy) Quates, and Jimmy (Pennie) Quates.  David's memory will be treasured by his devoted children, David Jr. (Delana), Brooke and Abigail.  He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Layton and Laynee, who brought immense joy to his life.

David's life was marked by his deep commitment to family and his unwavering love for those close to him.  He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
