Hudson, Cora Lanell, age 70, a resident of Hope Hull, AL died on Thursday, July 7, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Stephen officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Hudson and daughter, Melanie Louise Hudson. She is survived by her daughter, Angelia Gay Hudson of Hope Hull, AL, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers, Otis Calvin Thornton of Highland Home, AL, Mitchell Thornton (Shirley) of Lowndes County, AL, Donnie Thornton (Gilda) of Pace, FL, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be great-nephew, Jimmy Lightsey, Lamar Hall, Lee Griffin, Kenneth Bolling, Dale Young and Cliff Holladay.
