Spears, Cleo Godwin, 87, a resident of Greenville, AL, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Brother Nathan Skipper and Brother Howard Kervin officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Ebenezer East Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her husband, C.V Spears and brother, Cleveland Godwin.
Mrs. Spears is survived by her son: Kevin Spears of Greenville, AL; sisters: Clura Godwin of Greenville, AL, Margaret Smith (Bob) of Dallas, TX, and Karen Prather (Earl) of Dozier, AL; brother: Lomax Godwin (Martha) Pace, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Godwin, Sam Godwin, Earl Prather, Donnie Godwin, Eugene Phillips, and Jim Hammonds. Elias Godwin will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
