Lawrence, Claire Ann, 68, a residence of Greenville, AL, died at Crowne Health Care in Greenville on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The funeral service will be held at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, with Reverend Herbert Brown and Reverend William Leverette officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Southside Baptist Church and also Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m at Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband: Roger Dale Lawrence, Sr; parents: Alvin and Mary Lou Turner; brother: Bobby Turner; sister: Betty Leverette. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her sons: Roger Dale Lawrence, II (April) of Greenville, AL, David Anthony Lawrence (Lisa) of Greenville, AL, and Daniel Shane Lawrence (Erica) of Marietta, GA; grandchildren: Ashley Lawrence Gibson (Tyler), Hunter Kyle Lawrence, Roger Dale Lawrence, III, Sarah Gordon Pitts (Hollis), and Amber Snell (Kevin); great-grandchildren: Caylee Gibson, Robyn Gibson, Joshua Gibson, Kyle Lawrence, Ryan Pitts, Zachary Boggan, Allie Snell, and Paisley Snell; brother: Leroyce Lawrence (Lavonne) of Estancia, NM; sister Janet Whitaker of Atmore, AL; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lawrence was the secretary at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville for 32 years.
