Chris was born on April 18, 1935, in Niagara Falls, New York, to Laurence and Leola Watson Simonetti.
Chris was known for her love of her family, her joy in cooking (as so many Italians are), her love of Christmas decorations, her joy in yard work and gardening. Most years, she wouldn't buy tomato plants because she would save seeds from the previous year to plant and have perfect tomatoes. Maybe most of all, she is known for her frugalness. She refused to waste anything. Even when we began taking her meals, she refused to throw away a paper plate if she could wipe it clean. She grew up in a Catholic Church, was an avid Bible reader, and read the entire Bible multiple times.
Chris is preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Leola Simonetti, her brother Joseph Ray Simonetti, her sister Leola May Golding, her brother Laurence Russell Simonetti, her sister Patricia Newell, her sister Sylvia Woolf and her grandson John Kevin Paulk.
Chris is survived by her four children from her marriage to John Rubin Paulk: Kenneth Paulk (Marcia), Ronald Paulk (Sharon), Johnny Paulk (Rachel), Billy Paulk (Charlene), her sister Barbara Pike, Eleven grandchildren: Valerie Hayward (Josh), Ashley Paulk, Brett Paulk (Crystal), Brian Paulk (Kristine), Noelle McNeil (Brian), Heather Paulk, Daniel Paulk (Crystal), David Paulk (Sara), William Paulk Jr (Lauren), Cory Paulk, Christine Britt (Lyn),
Twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
