Mrs. Christie Michelle Martin, 40, a resident of Opelika, AL and a former resident of Greenville, AL, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Opelika, AL.

The family will receive friends at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in Opelika, AL on Thursday evening, May 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The family will have another visitation on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home, Greenville, AL. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband: John Thomas Martin (J.T.) of Wetumpka, AL, 3 children: Taylor Higdon of Pensacola, FL, Jaedda Patterson of Connecticut, Amber LeeEllen Martin of Wetumpka, AL, 2 granddaughters: Saniah Higdon and Ariee Higdon, 2 other grandchildren, Mother: Dot Higdon of Greenville, AL, 2 brothers: Dwayne Higdon (Elizabeth) of Brewton, AL, Tracy Higdon (Julie) of Murrysville, PA, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
