Mr. Chester Franklin Phelps, 83, a resident of Opp, AL and a former resident of Greenville, AL, died Saturday, August 13, at his residence. Burial will take place at County Line Church of Christ Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Phelps was preceded death by his parents, Jasper and Inez Phelps. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Phelps of Opp, AL; sisters-in-law, Brenda Owens (Randy) of Greenville, AL, Amaline Owens of Letohatchee, AL, Martha Owens of Sneeds, FL and Doris Patterson of Wetumpka, AL and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
