Mr. Cecil Lee Schofield, 80, a resident of Georgiana, AL, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Georgiana Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Awin Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Schofield was preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Opal Schofield and his former wife: Carolyn Faye Schofield.

He is survived by his children: Sonya Sawyer of Georgiana, AL, Sarita Schofield of Honoraville, AL, and Tasha Schofield (Leroy Nelson) of Georgiana, AL; grandchild: Travis Andrew Schofield of Alexander City, AL; sisters: Jewel McCormick of Greenville, AL and Birdie Mae Thomas of Greenville, AL and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
