McVay, Carroll Wayne, 88, a resident of Honoraville, AL died at his home Monday, December 07, 2015. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Minister Steve Foster officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Perdue Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. McVay was preceded in death by parents: JT and Verla B. McVay; sisters: Lettie Crowell and Lessie Crowell; brothers: James McVay, Joe McVay, Gene McVay and Buddy McVay.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Jeanette P. McVay; children: Brenda Wingate (Jack) of Panama City Beach, FL, Faye McVay Moorer of Honoraville, AL and Jerry McVay (Audrey) of Honoraville, AL; grandchildren: Richard Wingate (Erin) of Eufaula, AL, Jason Wingate (Suzy) of Pike Road, AL, Missy Moorer Norris of Honoraville, AL, Jenny Moorer Dantzler of Georgiana, AL, Jessica McVay Wright (Rob) of Millbrook, AL, Myah Moorhead of Honoraville, AL and Mattalie Moorhead of Honoraville, AL; great-grandchildren: Davis Wingate, Annie Wingate, Cooper Wingate, Knox Wingate, Austin Norris, Brianna Norris, Micheal Dantzler, Andrew Dantzler and Bryson Wright; sister: Lillian Medley and a host of nieces, nephews, loyal friends, and his New Providence Church of Christ family.
Pallbearers will be Paige McVay, Gary Medley, Ricky Gray, Richard Wingate, Jason Wingate and Kevin Newton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Craig Pouncey, Harris Holley, Austin Norris, Micheal Dantzler, Andrew Dantzler and Dickie Vanderford.
