Obituary

Carolyn Davis, born on June 22, 1939, in Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on August 8, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Magnolia Cemetery beginning at 2:00 p.m. with her son, Brother Mitch Stuckey officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

She was a beloved resident of Monroeville and worked for Vanity Fair. Carolyn was preceded in death by David and Ruby Lowe, Douglas Stuckey, and Thomas Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Kevin) Norris and Jill (Caleb) Cowart, and her sons, Mitch (Deborah) Stuckey and Tom Davis. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Travis Stuckey, Dalton Stuckey, Chase Stuckey, Hunter Norris, Mallory Davis, and Gavin Mennemeier, as well as her great-grandchildren, Gage Stuckey, Avalynn Stuckey, Alex Stuckey, Conrad Stuckey, and Henley Norris.

Carolyn was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and her family. Her hobbies included exercising at the YMCA, walking with friends and family, dancing, attending art festivals, baking, and shopping. Known affectionately as 'The Silver Fox,' Carolyn was never without her comb, Loreal lipstick, a cup of coffee, and something sweet to eat.

Carolyn was known for her loving and friendly nature, always wearing a beautiful smile that could brighten any room. She will be missed and loved forever.
