Bobby Ray Rogers

Bobby Ray Rogers, 82, of Honoraville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Montgomery to the late Curtis Haywood Rogers and Cumi Elizabeth Boatright Rogers. Bobby was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam. He had worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator. Bobby was a member of Ebenezer East Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan, loved animals and especially loved singing karaoke.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Shelby Skinner Rogers, sister, Bonnie Henderson (Wayne), nieces, Brenda Hudgins (Paul), and Beth Henderson, sister-in law, Jean S. Evers, nieces, Wendy Bryan, Dixie Allison and Tosha Parker, brothers-in-law, Lane Skinner and Richard Skinner, special friends, Lamar and Becky Duffell, fur babies, Angel and Beanie, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family and close friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Ebenezer East Baptist Church, 1571 Halso Mill Rd., Greenville, AL 36037 with Bro. Tim Skipper officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday beginning at 12:00 pm until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 10701 McKenzie Grade Rd., Georgiana, AL 36033.
