Bobby Prater, age 91, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Liberty Methodist Church. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Katherine Prater; parents, Jim Lloyd and Pearlie Jane Prater; brothers, James Lloyd Prater and Lester Prater.

He is survived by his sons, Terry Prater and Tim Prater; grandchildren, Nick Prater, Daniel Prater, Heather Corbin, Faleena Scruggs; great grandchildren, Carma Eleanor Prater, Bellamy Prater, Mason Corbin, Bentley Corbin, Annerson Eli Corbin, Walker Scruggs, Keegan Scruggs; sisters, (Maggie) Phyllis, Delana, Becky, Norma Lee, Easter, Ester, Dollie and Donnie Ray.
