Bobby Wayne Morris, 79, a resident of Jacksonville, AL and a former resident of Greenville, AL died on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend David Dean Morris officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents: Auburn and Jewell Morris; two brothers: Billy and Larry Morris. He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Willa Morris; two sons: Gregory and David Morris; one daughter: Rebekah Underwood; five grandchildren: Greyson, Tatham, Ella, Riker, and Auburn Underwood; two sisters: Betty Potter and Carol Stuart. Active pall bearers are Gregory Morris, Michael Morris, Jacob Morris, Caleb Morris, Marvin Holladay, and Tony Holladay

Mr. Morris was born to Auburn and Jewel Morris of Greenville, Alabama on July 4, 1936. He was a 1954 graduate of Greenville High School and married the love of his life Willa Dean Majors in 1957. He made a living for his family working as a Chemical Operator for Monsanto Corporation of Pensacola for 31 years. He was also a resident of Pea Ridge, Florida from 1960 to 2006. He moved to Jacksonville, Alabama in 2006. He attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Pace Florida and was commander of the Royal Rangers for eleven years. He attended Milton First Assembly of God (1980-2006) of God in Milton, Florida where he served as Senior Commander for Royal Rangers for three years. His achievements as the Senior Commander were many awards and trophies. He was a regular attendee at Good News Assembly of God of Jacksonville, Alabama from 2006-2014. Parkinson Disease and Dementia were diagnosed in 2013. His last breaths were taken while at home in Jacksonville, Alabama where he was surrounded by his loving and caring wife of 57 years.
