Bobbie Bryson Carter

Bobbie Bryson Carter of Greensboro, North Carolina, died Sunday afternoon, April 12th, at the age of 95. A native of Jacksonville, Alabama, she made her home in Greenville, Alabama, as an adult. She married John King Carter, Jr., now deceased, and is survived by her three sons, John, Kit, and Robert; her son-in-law, Randall Smith; her daughter-in-law, Anne Barton Carter; three grandchildren, Bryson Carter, Stirling Carter, and MM Kibby; and her grandson-in-law, Regan Kibby. She was a graduate of Alabama Women’s College, now the University of Montevallo, and had a long and highly respected career as a first-grade teacher at W.O. Parmer Elementary School in Greenville.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the caregivers at Abbotswood Assisted Living and Clapp's Nursing Center for the comfort and care provided to our mother in her last years.

The family will hold a brief Burial Service at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, Alabama on Friday June 12th at 11:00 a.m. Any extended family members and family friends who would like to attend are warmly welcomed.
