Betty Zollene Wicks

Betty Zollene Wicks passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 88.

Zollene was born on December 4, 1937, to Andrew Thomas Fuller and Earnestine Henderson Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Jim Wicks and her four siblings, Ginny Cowart, Peggy Phelps, Louise Grayson and Edward Fuller.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Moleskey (John), her brothers, Gerald Fuller (Ann) and A.Z. Fuller (Carol), along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Zollene spent most of her adult life in Ohio, where she and Jim built a life together while he worked for Ford Motor Company. Following Jim’s retirement, they relocated to Greenville, Alabama, where Zollene enjoyed many happy years surrounded by family and friends.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures – reading a good book, playing cards, sharing laughter with family, and spending time with her beloved four-legged companions. Zollene will be remembered for her independent spirit and the love she gave so freely to those around her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Dunklin Funeral Home in Greenville from 12:00 pm – 1:00p.m. Graveside services will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m.
