Bettie Sue Hartley Huckabaa, age 80, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Danny Duncan, Brother Craig Burkhalter and Brother Jason Simmons officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Whiddon; parents, John Hartley and Nellie Austin Hartley; siblings, Johnny Hartley, Albert Hartley, Nellie Sue Bentley, Edith Free, George Phillip Hartley; special nephew, David Bentley; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Huckabaa; stepdaughter, Katina Huckabaa; special nephews, Scott Bentley and Dylan Bentley; niece, Allison Bentley; sisters, Allie Mae Moody (Alonzo), Mary Lou Hartley, Minnie Frances Clements, Myra Hartley; along with nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Damacus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Gloria Beverly, 4195 Dock Road, Honoraville, Alabama 36042.
