Griggers, Bertha Ree Gomillion, 90, a native of Greenville, AL and a resident of Montgomery, AL died Monday, July 28, 2014, at Crowne Health Care in Montgomery, AL. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend who set an extraordinary example of strength, love, and commitment. Her Christian character was evident in her love and care for family and friends. Mrs. Griggers was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur Ural Griggers, infant son: Kenneth Griggers and brother: James Albert Gomillion. She is survived by her daughters: Judy Ann Griggers Graydon (Wayne) of Montgomery, AL, Sharon Delores Griggers Hays (Ron) of Daphne, AL and Angelen Diane Griggers Jaworski (Ron) of Montgomery, AL; son: Arthur Ural Griggers, Jr. (Patricia) of Greenville, AL; grandchildren: Lori Ann Lamberth, Tracy Hughes, Amy Daniel Thornhill, Michael Graydon, Troy Hays, and Stephen Daniel; sisters: Earsie Lee Miller and Alberta Childs; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31 2014, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. David McVay officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dalraida United Methodist Church, 3817 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL.
