Owens, Barney Lee, 61, of Greenville, AL died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Park on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ronnie Boulware officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Barney is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Owens of Greenville, AL; children, Timothy Lee Owens of Pine Apple, AL, Connie Clanton (Andrew), Betty Owens and John Wesley Owens all of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Dillon Brown, Austin Lee Brown, Augustine Gail Clanton, Connie Danielle Clanton, Elizabeth Ilvea Ordonez and Emilee Ruth Ordonez; sisters, Sue Grier of Wetumpka, AL and Goldie Fike (Tommy) of Millbrook, AL; brothers, James Owens, Gene Wayne Owens (Laurie), Larry Owens and Glover "Bill" Owens (Mary Beth) all of Wetumpka, AL and many nieces and nephews.
