Barbara Crutchfield McGraw passed away at her home in Camden, Alabama on June 5, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on March 6, 1931, in Reform, Alabama, to Thomas Orion and Irene Ball Crutchfield, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Erskine McGraw; brother, Thomas Orion Crutchfield; and sister, Betty Denaburg Mabe.
She is survived by her children: Ronald (Gail) McGraw, Tommy (Jane) McGraw, Linda (Wilfred) Dailey, Marcus (Debbie) McGraw, Paul (Joanne) McGraw, Kenneth ((Mayann) McGraw; grandchildren, Heather (Mark) Holloway, Jason McGraw, Julie (William) Morton, Alexis McGraw, Jeri Lyn (Stephen) Morgan, Joey (Katrina) Wilson, Richard Dailey, Bryan (Blair) Dailey, Jessica (Scott) Alford, Justin (Mallory) McGraw, Crystal (Terry) Young, Kerry McGraw, Ken (Christy) McGraw, Melissa (Brandon) Gates, Amber Tucker Alford, and Heather Marinda; great grandchildren, Slade Huggins, Hayden Morton, Miller Morton, Jenna Holloway, Jared Dailey, Brett Dailey, Collin Morgan, Ryan Wilson, Madeline Dailey, Bryline Dailey, Braden Morgan, Malcolm Dailey, Harper Dailey, Ramsey Dailey, Tucker Wilson, Mason McGraw, Sutton McGraw, Alice Alford Fallon McGraw, Carter Alford, Hayes and Ella McGraw, Addyson McGraw, Michelle Baswell, (J.C.) Small, Casey Edge, Breanna (Joe) Yeager, Bennett Yeager, Joey Freeman, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Halbrook, and Brantley Halbrook. Mrs. McGraw also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Barbara was a faithful member of Camden Baptist Church attending services regularly until health issues prevented her from supporting its ministries. Her strong but gentle faith spoke volumes of her relationship with Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother to her children and for many years cared for her children in her home. She also worked for the Wilcox Development Office and Wilcox County Library until her retirement.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Camden Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Nelson officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Interment will follow at Camden City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason McGraw, Joey Wilson, Richard Dailey, Bryan Dailey, Ken McGraw, and Justin McGraw. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons.
