April B. Lawrence, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

To know April was to love her. She had a way of capturing your heart without even trying. She was thoughtful, bright, funny, and fiercely loyal. If April called you a friend, you were loved deeply and supported completely—no questions asked.

April had a rare and beautiful gift: she made people feel important. When she listened, she truly heard you. When she showed up, she showed up fully. Right, wrong, or indifferent, if you were her friend, she stood by you with unwavering loyalty and love.

April's warmth and love earned her many nicknames—Ace, Blossom, Sunshine, and Elliemae—each one reflecting the light she brought into this world.

Above all else, April's greatest joy was her son, Roger Dale, known affectionately to her as Tug or RD. The sun truly rose and set with him. He was her heart, her pride, and her greatest accomplishment.

Though glioblastoma took April from us far too soon, it could never take her spirit, her laughter, or her love. Those live on in each of us who were fortunate enough to know her.

April is now at peace—reunited with her beloved Daisy dog—surrounded by the same love she gave so freely in this life.

We do not say goodbye. We give thanks. We celebrate a life well lived and a woman deeply loved.

Rest easy, sweet April. You will always be loved.

Funeral Services for April will be on Saturday, December 20, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Spears officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12:00 noon until service time.
