Anne Minor Jackson Jones, age 81, of Camden, AL died on Friday, January 25, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 209 Broad Street in Camden with The Reverend Stuart Fowler officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00-3:00.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Brockway Jackson and Anne Minor Jackson; and brother, James Brockway Jackson, Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Fate Watson Jones of Camden, her son, Brockway Jackson Jones and wife, Anne, and three grandchildren; Daniel William Jones, Thornton Waston Jones and Susannah Royce Jones, all of Tuscaloosa.
She was born in Eutaw, Alabama on July 3, 1931. She attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
Pallbearers will be Max Baggett, Jo Bonner, Ricky Jones, Donny McLeod, Bryant Pearson, and Sam Woodson.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. William Harvey, Haas Strother, Blake Field, Tom Kimbrell, Ken Huff and Bobby Lane.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to either the Camden ARP Church, 209 Broad Street, Camden, AL 36726, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 5111 U.S. Highway 11, Boligee, AL 35443, or one's favorite charity.
