Anna Marie Herring died unexpectedly at home on September 12, 2018 in Old Texas, AL at the age of 72. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be at Jenkins Chapel Methodist Church in Old Texas, AL on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 3:00pm, and visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 2:00pm. Rev. Chris Mosley will be officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow the church ceremony at the church.

Anna Marie is survived by her daughter Donna Wall Johnson (Matt) of Greenville, AL; brother Bill Owens (Faye) of Silver Hill, AL; grandchildren: David Wall (Kayla) of Old Texas, AL and Amanda Thompson of Greenville, AL; several nieces and nephews; and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Douglas Herring; parents Eugene and Versie Owens; brother Jesse Owens; son Keith Wall; and grandson Jason Thompson.

Anna Marie was born on October 26, 1945 at home in Old Texas, AL to Eugene and Versie Owens. Anna Marie Herring was retired from Boss's Glove Factory and home health employee. She loved gardening, her animals, and spending time at church. Anna Marie attended school in Beatrice, AL and was well known throughout the community. Annie Marie was a member of Church of God in Greenville, AL. She was devoted to being a mother, a grandparent, and a friend to all. She will be greatly missed.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Owens, Frank Owens, Matthew Owens,Timmy Waters, David Warren, David Wall, and Mike Johnston. The address of the location is Highway 47 Pine Apple, Alabama 36768. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anna Marie life. Flowers will be appreciated and accepted.
